This is another strata that incorporates splines and circles and the typical contrasting warm and cool colours. I like to contrast the warm and cool colours vividly with some earthier hues to soften the transition within the composition. Note that the spline is a single line if you use your eye to trace it that will take you on a journey across the whole canvas.

I have been an admirer of Kenneth Noland’s Targets for a very long time and decided to do a piece extending one of his targets horizontally over three panels.I painted these using a textured cell structure and underlying geometry to give continuity to the composition.
